Lord Krishna's Birthday

Today in India we all celebrate the birth of our favourite Lord Krishna.
The God who gave us the Gita.
The Gita gives us the true meaning of life.
These beautiful Striped Lilies below remind me of Lord Krishna's colours.
He wears a 'pitamber' or a yellow orche garment and always wears a peacock feather in his crown.

Most of you are already very familiar with flowers and also designs.

But flower arranging is a different art medium.

When we paint, when we write…. we begin with elements that do not have inherent beauty lying in them.

Paints struggling out of a tube do not look beautiful; it needs handling to create it into a master piece.

Alphabets which form words and then bring more meaning and later bring out the beauty of these words through poetry and prose.

But flowers….

They are a beautiful medium themselves!!
