Mixed "Misal" of Mumbai

"Misal" is a quintessential Mumbai food.
Any mumbaikar will tell you where his best "misal" place is.
"misal" is basically a mix of various legumes or pulses which are cooked with onions, tomatoes and Mumbai Spices. 
Sprinkled on this basic maharashtrain  "usal" is the gujarati mix mumbai "farsan" and then added are dollops of various chutneys which make the final "misal" unique!!

Well, after describing the foodie "misal" let me tell you how I've added those very same legumes as the base for my minimalist flower display, added a touch of locally available 'ram bann' stalks and thrown it all together to form my floral "misal"
